Ballroom dancing is a feel-good way to improve your fitness. It has the unique combination of physical exercise, social interaction and mental concentration, all set to music. So, join the fun, make new friends, put a spring in your step and a smile on your face!

Proper ballroom dance shoes are necessary for this course. Therese will address this matter at the beginning of the course and advise where to purchase appropriate shoes at the best price. Until you have the correct shoes, firm-fitting shoes are required; leather soles are better than rubber if possible. No thongs, scuffs or slip-on styles are to be worn. Ladies, fine stiletto heels are equally inappropriate.

Therese is qualified with the Australian National Dance Association, the Society of Australian Teachers of Dance and DanceSport Australia.  Her studio is a Recognised Training Facility with DanceSport Australia.  She has done medals and competition dancing as an amateur and was awarded first place at her first Pro/Am Competition.  As she says: “WALK IN and DANCE OUT at Penrith Ballroom Dance”!

Please note:

Everyone who walks in the door is required to use the hand sanitizer upon entry.  Thank you.

As Ballroom Dancing is an “up-close and personal” form of sport, please do not attend the studio if you have any flu-like symptoms.  In an effort to keep both staff and students well, anyone who presents at the studio with ANY flu-like symptoms will be turned away.

Covid is still very much with us and colds and flu are ever present, we thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
