This course is designed to provide an understanding of relationship psychology and how it can be used to improve the quality of personal relationships. Topics include: relationship ethics; communication; personal and relationship development; managing difficult relationships; and basic counselling skills. Discussions, exercises, personal experience, films and extensive notes assist participants to learn how to apply the course content in everyday life. Participants can nominate additional course topics. Participants find the course a relaxing and enjoyable way to increase their self understanding and improve their relationship skills. Research has shown that a close, personal relationship is one of the most important requirements for happiness.
