If you have a particular class in mind, we recommend that you contact the class leader/tutor before applying for membership, to make sure that there is room for you in your preferred class. This will avoid the disappointment of being placed on a waiting list. See Courses for tutor’s contact details.
To be eligible for U3A membership you must be retired from full-time work and be nominally over 50 years of age. If you are under 50 years of age you may still qualify, but only after consideration of your circumstances by our committee.
The New Membership fee is $50.00, which grants access to most courses without further payment (there is currently only one class, The Jam Session, which requires additional nominal fee. Contact the tutor for details). Membership entitles you to attend as many courses as you wish, providing that there are spaces available. Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December. Members who join after 1st July will be charged a $25 Half-Year Fee. If you are not happy with your chosen class, then try another class. We do not give refunds.
We send an email notification when our monthly newsletter is published. On the application you can choose to receive this by selecting “email”. Alternatively you can choose to have the newsletter posted to you each month for an extra cost of $25 pa, or choose neither by selecting “none”.

After submitting the form, click HERE to pay your membership fee. ONE PERSON PER PAYMENT. Select New Member and go to checkout. If you wish to add $25 for newsletter postage go back from checkout by selecting add another item. Consider the following when selecting the delivery option:
We keep our charges to an absolute minimum, so if you can help reduce our postage costs by collecting your membership card from our office, please select the delivery method “Pick Up” at the check-out page. If you select “Deliver” your card will be posted via Australia Post standard mail.
If you make a mistake and pick too many items, just remove them at the checkout by selecting the small rubbish bin alongside the unwanted item.
