The course will cover European history from the Italian Renaissance until the French Revolution. Topics include: the Age of Exploration, the Slave Trade, the Tudors, Stuarts, Hanoverians and Hapsburgs, the Ancien Regime, the East India Companies, the impact of the Ottoman Empire.
