These computer classes are designed to help participants gain the skills and knowledge required to operate a computer, perform common basic tasks and assist in acquiring the technical skills required for everyday life in this technological age.
Two classes will be held and after some discussion with the tutor, students will be allocated to a class suitable to their current skill level.
The classes will start with a basic understanding of a computer and how it works, hardware and software. We will cover applications such as internet, e-mail, Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT), saving documents, filing and naming documents/photos etc.
